Page 18 - Oasis in the Sky

My childhood home in Ramsey Canyon, Arizona. My old house with its tin
roof is now part of the Arizona Folklife Preserve, and the house where I grew
up is now called the Moffett House. The photo below shows the yard, which was
once my personal playground. It is now a picnic area for visitors to the historic
old house. Little did I realize I was living in a place that would be preserved for
Arizona state history.
